Sport Coach vs Club Coach. Safe Sport Training and Make Ethical Decision (MED) are required for all Athletics Alberta Coach members and the other modules are specific to the various coaching pathways. The online modules are available at **Alberta Sport** and the eLearning modules available in **The Locker**. Coaches will have one year (365 days) to complete and pass their Athletics Portfolio for RJTW, Sport Coach and Club Coach. In addition, coaches who registered for their Athletics evaluations in RJTW, Sport Coach or Club Coach in the past (2024, 2023, 2022, etc) have until December 31, 2025 to complete and pass it. #### **Required for ALL Coach Members of Athletics Alberta**. In order to assist you in the opportunity to support young athletes through their sport experience, we have compiled a number of resources to assist and support coaches from the community, club or high performance levels. ### The Coaching Association of Canada. The Coaching Association of Canada (www.coach.ca) is responsible for the development of the coach education system in Canada, the National Coaching Certification Program or **NCCP**. There are an incredible number of great programs for you as a coach in the areas of sport specific training as well as multi sport courses where you can take part in a progressive learning environment with coaches from a variety of sports. The first place to start is with your specific **Provincial Sport Organization**. They can assist you in identifying the appropriate NCCP coaching stream and required coaching courses. Alberta Sport maintains a **calendar of courses** offered throughout Alberta.
