L’amélioration des processus et l’excellence opérationnelle demeurent des leviers essentiels pour btir des organisations performantes, résilientes et capables de s’adapter à un environnement en constante évolution. Les recherches en gestion — notamment celles de HEC Montréal et des approches Lean reconnues mondialement — convergent toutes vers la même conclusion : **la pérennité de l’excellence opérationnelle dépend directement de la posture des dirigeants**. Elle repose sur des méthodes éprouvées comme le Lean Six Sigma, un coffre d’outils qui ont fait leurs preuves, des modèles de système de gestion axés sur la revue de performance et j’en passe ! En somme, l’amélioration des processus n’est pas seulement une question de méthodes et d’outils : c’est un projet de leadership. La question qui mérite réflexion est donc la suivante : **nos structures de gouvernance et nos pratiques de leadership soutiennent-elles réellement l’excellence opérationnelle, ou reposent-elles encore trop sur des efforts isolés et des initiatives temporaires****à la saveur du moment****?**.
