# Global Leadership Program. In a complex world where global forces are affecting our quality of life, where interconnectedness is the norm and challenges require collective action, leadership requires a global perspective. The Global Leadership Program is a new initiative of AKFC designed to equip Canadian professionals with the intellectual insight and practical ingenuity to navigate and shape our world. # The Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP). The Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) provides targeted learning and development opportunities for current federal public service executives in two streams, at the EX-01 to EX-03 levels and at the EX-04 and EX-05 levels. Created in 2016 at the request of the Clerk of the Privy Council, the ELDP supports the development of dynamic, high-performing executives to meet the current and future needs of the federal public service. ## Selection of ELDP participants. The ELDP is a nomination-based program for executives of the federal public service. * OCHRO makes a preliminary selection of participants to ensure a diversity of high performing executives to meet the current and future needs of the federal public service. * Through the organization’s annual executive talent management process, departments identify the executives at the EX-01, EX-02 and EX-03 levels they wish to nominate for the program.
