Respect in Sport certification is free for all Manitoban coaches thanks for financial support from Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries. The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) provides standardized, inclusive, and safe sport education to coaches and coach developers across 65 sports.

# National Coach Certification Program (NCCP). The National Coaching Certification Program (**NCCP**) is the system used by most sporting organizations in Canada for developing coaches in their specific sports. While the old system required theory courses to be taken at Coaching Manitoba the new system has these courses integrated into the modules. **Provincial Coach** (old Level 2) consists of 2 modules; Module 4 - Design a Basic Sport Program and Basic Mental Skills and Module 5 - Technical/Tactical Foundations. Coaches will learn how to create a sound Badminton program and learn more advanced coaching techniques and skills. The Professional Development requirement varies based off of the the athlete level the coach works with. Each year more than 50,000 coaches take an NCCP course, and more than 1 million coaches have participated in the program, making it one of Canada’s largest adult education programs. NCCP workshops are designed for all types of coaches. Whether you’re thinking about coaching your child’s community team, or you’re already the head coach of a national team, the NCCP has workshops to meet your needs. # The Career Coach Certificate. This program is perfect for professionals already in the field looking to enhance their knowledge, as well as people transitioning into the employment coach field. The Career Coach Certificate is a joint program between the Winnipeg Transition Centre and The University of Winnipeg Professional, Applied & Continuing Education. Individuals must successfully complete all four workshops to receive the FINAL certificate. Once a participant has attended all 4 workshops and successfully completes the Final Assignment for each, they automatically qualify for the Final Certificate. To develop and practice the coaching skills required to assist individuals or groups with employment transition skills. Individuals must successfully complete all four workshops to receive the final certificate. Learn how to assist individuals to identify their motivated skills, values and gifts to develop an effective career action plan. Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive a joint Certificate of Completion from the University of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Transition Centre.
