As we separate our clothes by color, load them into the washing machine, and wait for the cycle to complete, we engage in a repetitive motion that can help calm our minds and reduce stress. The rhythmic sound of the washing machine and the repetitive folding of clothes can provide a therapeutic experience, allowing us to focus on the task at hand and quiet the noise in our heads.
