Geosynthetic materials are ubiquitously used to prevent the erosion of soil. Geosynthetic mats are placed and anchored into the soil to improve stability of embankments, canals, and river banks slopes. Stability of slopes, during or after rainy season, is ensured especially by presence of geosynthetic drainage, filter, and reinforcement.
