# Road To Work Program. The Road to Work Program is a hands-on employment program connecting youth ages 18–25 with opportunities in construction, road building, and traffic safety. Through paid training at $15/hour, participants gain industry-recognized safety certifications and practical skills needed to enter the workforce with confidence. The Road to Work Program helps youth gain the skills, certifications, and experience needed to start a career in construction, road work, and traffic safety, all while earning during training. Through partnerships with industry employers, this program creates a direct path from training to employment. After training, participants are supported in applying for jobs with YOUCAN’s industry partners. * Desire to start a career in the construction, road work, or traffic safety industries. * Ability to attend 7 consecutive weeks of training, Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:00pm).
